My Gluten Free Journey
My gluten free journey began over 15 years ago when health issues led to a gluten free diet. I was lucky to have grown up with parents that baked and cooked everything from scratch. We had an abundant garden full of vibrant vegetables, fresh baked bread on Sundays, and homemade everything. Despite the scratch bakes I always had digestive issues growing up. It wasn't until adulthood after having my three beautiful kids, that I realized something wasn't right. My symptoms intensified over the next of couple years. I began to focus on my diet and started to keep a food journal. I quickly noticed a pattern, so I removed gluten and almost immediately noticed a difference in my symptoms. I began to heal my gut and never looked back. My gluten free journey was not easy in the beginning and I missed so many things I used to enjoy. This led to experimenting with different baking and cooking techniques to create yummy meals and bakes I rarely could find. Fast forward many years later after testing and sharing gluten free treats with family and friends, I created Cream City Bakes and Bites. I am dedicated to crafting delicious gluten free bakes for special occasions, gatherings, or anytime cravings. Thank you for supporting my small business!
